Evangelism - Mere Christianity by CS Lewis
I was reading Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis a couple of days ago and this was what struck me in the second section of the book,
(II) What Christians Believe, The Rival Conceptions of God
As Christians, We DO NOT have to believe that all the other religions are simply wrong all through. We are FREE to think that all those religions even the queerest ones, contain at least some hint of the truth. But of course, at the DIFFERING points, being a Christian means thinking that Christianity is right and they are wrong.
There are two ways to look at this God issue:
God exist vs God does not exist. Christians, Hindus, Jews and Islamic followers believe that God exists.
However, some believe that God is beyond good and evil where, the universe is God there is no absolute truth absolute good and bad. This is held by the Hindus, something known as Panthesim.
On the flip side of the coin, others (like Christianity, Islam, Judaism) believes that God is definitely good. He is the maker of the heavens and the earth, he is the Creator, he determines what is good and evil. That's what we believe. That God indeed is our maker, our creator.
Go read Genesis 1 - the story of creation and marvel how God created this world from nothing, and how he created us, both man and woman from dust, making us in His image to care for this world. Amazing I tell you... =)
Just my two cents worth... In His love, Grace

Youth – Leaders of the future
- God has a purpose for every single one of our lives
- God prepares every single one of us
- God will use us both in full time ministries as well as in the marketplaces
- Our vision of the future has an effect on our lives in the present
Do youths have a part to play in the present?

- Style of evangelism is now different from before… mainly due to the word “online!”
Evolution of the Internet
- Server-based Messaging - close proximity

The challenge for us is to use our life experiences to life up the name of the Lord, and He will draw all men unto Himself.
Claiming back the internet for Christ
- Music industry was previously flooded with secular content, now has been slowly claimed back for Christ
- Likewise, we must do the same for the internet. We need to flood the internet with Godly content.
How do we blog Godly content?

- shy about talking too much about oneself or faith
Appeals to people
- who do not like ‘hard-sell’

- who may be back-sliders who just needs a reminder without much substance

What can you do on your blog?
- Links and Banners
- Use “Praise the Lord!”, “Thank you Jesus” phrases in the posts
3. Style : Bold
- Bold about one’s faith
- comfortable with sharing personal experiences
Appeals to people
- at an emotional level, relating to the experiences
- who know you personally
What can you do on your blog?

- Thanksgiving posts
4. Style : In Your Face
- Courageous and Direct about one’s faith
- Gregarious and upfront by nature

Challenge and Application
Will you do your part to claim back the internet for Christ?
Will you do your part to claim back your generation for Christ?
Will you do your part to claim back your friends for Christ?
What's our part? "Lift up the name of the Lord"
What's God's part? "Bring all man unto Himself"
Will you lift up the name of the Lord in your emails, in your IM, in your Blogs?
